QHR Software Inc.

The wholly owned subsidiary QHR Software Inc. and its Atlantic satellite office develop, market and support the Quadrant HR™ software. This dynamic Human Resource Information System (HRIS) is a user-defined, configurable solution that integrates separate human resources, payroll and staff scheduling applications within a single database. Quadrant HR was designed to administer every employee process from hire through to retire in complex, unionized, multi-site organizations. The software is currently used in North American healthcare, forestry, manufacturing and government.

Originally founded in 1997 as New Horizon Technologies Inc., QHR Software began marketing its integrated payroll and human resource management applications in 1998. By late 2002, development of the initial staff scheduling component was completed. Additional modules including web applicant management, employee training and competency administration, and a hosted version of the larger integrated system have been added to satisfy growing customer demand.

With headquarters in Kelowna, British Columbia, the QHR Software team also has implementations and sales staff in Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Montreal, Halifax, and Ottawa.

Optimed Software Corporation

Optimed Software Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of QHR that was established in March 2004 to market Accuro™, a web-accessible physician practice management software. This state-of-the-art system offers everything a clinic needs to operate in a chartless environment.

Dr. Thomas J. Kinahan, the visionary behind the software, founded OptiMEDirect Corporation in June 2001 to develop, using the latest technology, an integrated clinic management application designed for specialist physicians. After selling the Accuro marketing rights to QHR and becoming a Director of the public company, he eventually sold to Optimed Software Corporation his remaining proprietary rights.

With a dynamic group of enthusiastic employees, Optimed offers exceptional customer service along with leading edge development, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) technology.
