QHR obtained control of Clinicare Corporation through acquisition of outstanding shares; this acquisition of Clinicare which was the EMR pioneer (26 years) and a key competitor made QHR’s Optimed Software Corporation largest EMR solution providers for physicians in Canada.

Aug 2009

Saskatchewan SMA announced Optimed as its 1st “Approved Vendor” under its EMR program. As a result of this approval, physician clinics that choose the Accuro®EMR software solution are eligible for provincial reimbursement through the Saskatchewan Medical Association (“SMA”) and Ministry of Health EMR program. 760 physicians of 1,400 potential already supported by Optimed.

July 2009

Manitoba eHealth announced Optimed’s Accuro®EMR version 5 as the 1st “Conformed” EMR Solution in Manitoba. This means that Optimed’s Accuro®EMR is the first solution to complete the provincial conformance testing to verify that it meets all core requirements of Manitoba, including contractual arrangements of the RFQ process, to provide Manitoba primary care providers and community physicians with Conformed EMR.

May 2009

QHR subsidiary, Optimed, partners with Calgary Scientific Inc. of Calgary, AB. This partnership will facilitate the distribution of medical x-ray and lab results to referring physicians’ electronic inboxes, with integration from the x-ray report to offer immediate desktop or iPhone viewing of PACS images via the Web.

QHR subsidiary, QHR Software secures project with Community Care Information Management group (division of Ontario Ministry of Health & Long Term Care) to provide Quadrant Workforce solutions to the Community Support Services and Community Mental Health & Addictions organizations.

Feb 2009

QHR completes acquisition of Momentum Healthware Inc.’s Financial Division; the merger of this division with QHR Software’s human resource software division has created one of Canada’s leading enterprise management software providers to the healthcare market.

Sept 2008

QHR completes acquisition of Clinicvault and its Enterprise Datacenter. The acquisition enables QHR to seamlessly integrate Application Service Provider (ASP) services into its EMR client service delivery model and sets QHR apart from its competitors.

Nov 2005

QHR Software contracts with Commissionaires Ottawa, a security services provider, this contract was a milestone that validated QHR’s technology to clients outside the healthcare industry.

Mar 2004

QHR enters EMR market by acquiring customer base and Accuro® clinic software. Accuro® is designed for the emerging EMR marketplace on a national basis, a market of approximately 60,000 prospective physician clients in Canada. Approximately 50% of these are medical specialists who are the initial focus of the marketing and development plan.

July 2000

Reverse Takeover completed; Consolidated Team Resources Corp. changes name to QHR Technologies Inc. after acquiring 100% of New Horizon Technologies Inc. QHR is listed on TSX Venture (Symbol: QHR)
