TWO OF CANADA’S BIGGEST CLINICS UPGRADING TO ACCURO® EMR
KELOWNA, BC – (TSX-V: QHR) QHR Technologies Inc. (“QHR” or the “Company”), a leader in the Canadian Healthcare Information Technology sector, reports that its EMR division Optimed Software Corporation has recently signed two of Canada’s biggest private medical clinics in Manitoba, the Manitoba Clinic with 79 physicians and the Winnipeg Clinic with 51 physicians, to upgrade to Accuro® EMR.
Both clinics were acquired as clients when QHR purchased Clinicare Corporation for Optimed in December 2009.
The Manitoba Clinic, utilizing only Clinicare’s Billing and Scheduling applications, will be adding electronic medical records as the second phase of their upgrade to Optimed’s Accuro® EMR.
The Winnipeg Clinic, already an EMR client on Clinicare, plans to upgrade to Accuro®EMR in the coming months.
