QHR Central Commences
January 18, 2005 (QHR – TSX Venture Exchange) Mr. Al Hildebrandt, President and CEO of the Company, is pleased to announce that the business operations of the Company’s new subsidiary, QHR Central Software Inc. (“QCSI”), have commenced.
This corporate strategy has been initiated to accelerate the adoption rate of Quadrant HRTM and AccuroTM in the Province of Saskatchewan. QHR has already gained a significant position in the healthcare markets in Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia but to-date the Saskatchewan market has been left relatively untouched.
QCSI is a partnership between QHR and associated business consultants of HJ Linnen Associates Ltd. (“HJLA”), an established business services and consulting firm located in Regina. QHR will have no less than 51% ownership of QCSI and for reporting purposes the operational results of QCSI will be consolidated into the financial statements of QHR.
Leading the management team of senior business professionals as a Managing Director of QCSI is Mr. Conrad Hnatiuk, a Deputy Minister in Saskatchewan of both the Social Services and Health portfolios from 1992 to 1999. Now a private consultant, he continues to look for ways to improve government administration through state-of-the-art information technologies. During his public service career, he developed effective business resources and strong networks well suited to assist in the achievement of the long-term business objectives of QCSI and QHR.
Over the next decade, governments around the globe will be looking for effective and economical integrated solutions to assist in the management of the complex problems of healthcare administration and patient care. Their primary objective is to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiencies of their health care systems. Many of these solutions lie in electronic automation technologies for human resources management and patient administration that are the core expertise of QHR.
Management encourages interested parties to visit the Company’s web site, QHRtechnologies.com, for a more complete profile of the Company.
