$500k Alberta Contract

April 27, 2004 (QHR – TSX Venture Exchange) Mr. Al Hildebrandt, President and CEO of the Company, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary QHR Software Group Inc. has received a new contract that will add over $500,000 in new revenues to its operations during the next year.

The contract has been received from a prominent healthcare organization located in Alberta (for competitive reasons the name of the client has been withheld at this time). The contract covers the purchase of the complete suite of Quadrant HR™ software modules that feature payroll administration, staff scheduling, human resources management and other integrated functions such as web applicant tracking.

Contractual arrangements include implementation, ongoing support and maintenance services to be delivered under the terms of the agreement. The contract adds approximately 2,000 employees to the service base of the Company that now manages over 50 clients, including 11 clients in Alberta. Various Quadrant HR software modules cover in excess of 90,000 employees with over 20,000 of these now implementing the new staff scheduling module released in September 2003.
As an integral component of its business plan, QHR has aggressively invested in developing its technologies. This policy has created the unique integrated Version 2.0 of Quadrant HRTM software that has been the key underlyingreasonforsecuringthisallinclusivetypeofcontract. ItsstatusasareliablesuiteofHRsoftwarehas been attracting other contractual opportunities that are currently under negotiation.

While the core product of the Company is Quadrant HR, QHR in conjunction with its commitment to develop technologies to improve market growth adds Accuro™ software to its product line. Accuro™ is a powerful new suite of medical software modules designed to improve the quality of the operational work environment of general practice doctors, specialist physicians and surgeons while delivering administrative productivity gains and cost savings through computer automation. This product adds new dynamics to QHR as marketing of Accuro™ is direct to physicians and not to large complex healthcare organizations hence the sales cycle should be much quicker, more efficient, predictable and profitable.
