Versions 2.0
July 15, 2003 (QHR – TSX-VEN) Mr. Al Hildebrandt, President and CEO of the Company, is pleased to announce that the Company has substantially completed Version 2.0 of its proprietary Human Resource (“HR”) software known as Quadrant HR.
New functions such as staff scheduling, web-based applicant tracking and advanced management reporting capabilities have been incorporated into the new product offering. The Company has heavily invested in the product development of the staff scheduling module over the past year. Staff scheduling provides the integral link between the HR and payroll systems. Its main function is to create and track all scheduled work plan activities for an organization. In addition, the web-based applicant tracking module makes Quadrant HR available for a client’s external and internal recruitment and communication needs, in a safe and secure manner via the internet.
The new functionality increases the power and competitive advantages of Quadrant HR. This creates new revenue opportunities from current clients and increases the attractiveness of the system for potential new customers. Quadrant HR Version 2.0 is designed to be a flexible, user-configured HR system that assists the client in driving down employee administration costs. A complete portfolio of HR services, including human resource management, staff scheduling and payroll, are contained in a single database. It is specially designed for organizations that manage hundreds to thousands of employees. The objective is to maximize the efficiency of the client’s HR infrastructure and free valuable capital resources to be used in other areas of their enterprise.
Version 2.0 is scheduled for general release in September 2003. Initial on-site installations of Version 2.0 are currently underway at new sites and upgrades for current clients are being scheduled over the next few months. The successful development and the anticipated value of the new functionality contained in Version 2.0 is key to the further expansion of current client contracts and enhances future marketing opportunities with new clients. This is a significant milestone and accomplishment for QHR, its clients and its shareholders and paves the way for new and profitable revenue growth in the future. QHR is quickly growing in stature in the HR marketplace.
