Sierra Systems Partnership
July 25, 2002 (QHR – TSX) Mr. Al Hildebrandt, President and CEO of the Company is pleased to announce that QHR has entered into a non-exclusive Implementation Partners Agreement (“IPA”) with Sierra Systems Group Inc. (“Sierra Systems”) of Vancouver, BC, Canada.
QHR has experienced rapid business growth during the past year. Its Quadrant HR suite of software products has captured the attention of the market and new clients are being secured. A number of new contracts have been executed in the past few months and new client opportunities are being developed. These new clients are becoming larger in size with larger employee bases dealing with demanding, complex HR and payroll issues. For this reason, QHR needed to source additional resources to provide more resources for project planning and implementation. This need formed the basis of the IPA with Sierra Systems. QHR is pleased with the track record of Sierra Systems in healthcare and a wide range of government and business organizations and the IPA is viewed as a positive development for the Company.
Under the IPA, Sierra Systems becomes an experienced and cost effective implementation partner of QHR. Sierra Systems provides a broad-range consulting workforce. This is expected to accelerate the Company’s business growth while limiting the marketing expenses of achieving this growth. The main focus of the IPA is to jointly promote Quadrant HR and Sierra Systems’ expertise in project management, HR planning and large-scale payroll implementations. In addition to the delivery of Quadrant HR, Sierra Systems will also be able to deliver additional services beyond the initial implementation for organizational development and IT planning to QHR clients.
