New Horizon Name Change

April 18, 2002 (QHR – CDNX) Mr. Al Hildebrandt, President and CEO of the Company is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary New Horizon Technologies Inc. will now operate under its new corporate name, QHR Software Group Inc. The name change is effective April 17, 2002.

The market for the Company’s first generation of Quadrant HR software products has been established and the new name will better reflect corporate identity, organization and business mandate with shareholders, customers and the investment community.

Market acceptance of the Quadrant HR product by customers has grown steadily. QHR now serves more than 40 clients in North America. In addition to their initial contract sales, customers provide on-going service revenues to QHR on a yearly basis. In addition to new contract revenues, annual service contract revenue for 2002 will add in excess of $500,000 in revenues to the Company. Service revenues will continue to grow in future years as new customers purchase Quadrant HR products.

QHR Technologies Inc. is engaged in the business of developing and implementing Human Resource and Payroll software solutions and technology business acquisitions. QHR’s mission is to become a global leader in human resource software designed for complex payroll environments. QHR is developing software solutions designed to handle all elements of human resource management including human resources, payroll and employee relations.
