New Contract for New Horizon Technologies Inc.

October 27, 2000 (QHR – CDNX) QHR Technologies Inc. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, New Horizon Technologies Inc. has received a contract from The North Okanagan Health Region for the purchase of its Human Resource and Payroll software modules.

The contract is in the amount of CDN$373,000 and installation will begin immediately. This contract is a significant development for the Company as it will complete the installation of the Company’s Quadrant HR products for this customer.

QHR is in engaged in the business of developing and implementing human resource solutions for large and medium sized enterprises. Its software modules can be purchased separately or bundled in a single integrated product known as Quadrant HR which has been designed to handle payroll, staff scheduling, data base needs and all elements of human resource management.
